March is growing more than just flowers, it is also
growing local businesses. Arab will have its
second Home & Garden Show at The Recreation
Center on Main Street. This allows businesses to
showcase their products and services. Don’t miss
the daily demonstrations ranging from new
painting techniques to container gardening, even
lenders to talk about first-time home buying and
reverse mortgages. “There will be something to
interest everyone” says co-organizer Karen Smith.
“We are excited about this event getting started off
right, we want everyone to come out for the fun.”
The Shriners Clowns will be on hand to entertain
the kids and adults and will be accepting a one
dollar donation at the door. Co-organizer Holli
Shelton ads, “We know Arab is a great town that
really supports local businesses. So come on out
and see the new things they have to offer. Many
booths will be giving out super door prizes” March
20th the doors will open to the public from 8am-
3pm, then on March 21st from 11am-3pm. It’s not
